Libochovice 1874 trinket dish.
« on: January 31, 2020, 04:04:32 PM »
I've just bought this trinket tray, I can't show all of it because it's the only way I can find to get it below 125Kb. I was pleased to identify it from GTS as Libochovice 1874 and it does correspond to the photos shown. However I don't think the photos correspond to the catalogue images, the star/flower shape at the bottom and the rest of the design are different. I know there were often small differences between the catalogues and what was actually produced but these seem very different. I don't doubt my piece is by Libochovice but perhaps a different pattern? ???

It is indeed a green 1874 tray, the variation between the pattern book image and the actual tray is normal for this design.  Could I have a copy of your image by email please so I can add the green example to the GTS website? I can also resize it and add it to your post for you as well.

Thanks Anne, yes I can send you an image by email, which email address do I use and is there a restriction on image size?

Hi again NevB, support@glassmessages.com will always reach me (no restriction on size), or click the envelope below my name (but you can't add attachments if you use the latter as the board doesn't allow it.) Well done on adding the full view photo, it's a gorgeous tray, I love this in the green!

Gorgeous green Libochovice 1874 Trinket Tray, I have also seen this set in Amber glass with an "Ultra Crystal Brilliant Made in Czechoslovakia" Label.
