5 inches tall, moulded with lots of wear, pump handle ?

Hi. I wonder if this is an example of a press moulded tumbler that has been modified by the addition of the handle to make it into a tankard. The style of handle looks very similar to that on two modified pressed tumblers shown in Glass Tumblers by John Brooks. The handle doesn’t seem to quite go with the style of the body?

I suppose it may be, the colour of the glass matches well, both have age related wear and it is very comfortable to hold, if it was added later whoever did it made a good job

Keith Ekimp doesn't mean the handle was added later but that it was done at the factory

The handle is attached at the top and drawn down which is supposed to indicate pre c1870. The Brooks tumblers/tankards are a different pattern, but he dates his to c1850. He also shows a moulded tumbler that has had a bladed knop stem and foot added to make it into a rummer type glass, c1840.
