Amber Glass Bowl - Czech perhaps?
« on: August 31, 2006, 10:33:34 AM »
Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me with this bowl.  I'm going to list it in on eBay but I'm a bit flummoxed about it's origin and date.  To me it looks like a 1930's/40's type design and it has Czech characteristics (it's moulded and the base is ground down and inverted) but it's really a bit of a guess - this type/style of glass is not my usual thang.  I've had this absolutely ages and I can't even remember where or who I bought it from!  Any ideas on maker and/or age would be hugely appreciated.  TIA
