New blog post on the four-part pontil
« on: January 27, 2021, 11:29:55 PM »
After a long break, I've written a new blog post:

http://australianglass.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-four-part-pontil.html

The drift is that the feature is not at all rare (at least in Australian studio glass), so it does little to help in identifying the maker of an unsigned piece. However, its use seems to have died out, so it might be useful in fixing the era.
