Whose signature is this? Bowl - ID = Tingsgården skål
« on: June 05, 2018, 10:05:30 PM »
Does anyone recognise the signature on the base on this glass bowl.It stands 10.8cms in height and has a diameter of 15.7cms I assume from the base that it was made in 1991. Ive searched high and low. Any suggestion would be gratefully received.

Thanks Ant

Would you try rubbing a little talcum powder over the marks with your thumb and retaking the pics, please?
You've managed to get the marks in focus really well, but they're hidden by reflections.
It's a very common problem.   :)
Talc would really help bring it up for the camera.

Thanks Sue for your suggestion but in the time it took me to take the pictures it looks as if Johas has solved it.
Thanks a lot to both of you.

Hi, Jonas!
You must have much better eyesight than I do. I managed to make out a Timnm.. and might even have gone off on sarpaneva if i'd had a guess, but I thought better of it.  ;D
I can remember when my eyes worked properly.

Yes, Smitty, the talc turned out not to be needed, but it's something to remember for the future.
Not all of us have the eyes of eagles. ;D

It really does make it easier to see, now you have gone to the trouble. Thanks. :)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
