Hi Janine,

Here are some Blarney glass birds for you to compare to the one on ebay.

Hope this helps.  :D

hello again
I ordered the book by Haanstra: glass facts ...from Amazon!!!
thank you very much for all the help here on the forum
I am looking for books about glass, but most of them I can not use (very expensive) because they are about all sorts of glass, and I only collect glass birds, and only look each time for a different glassmanufacture or artist...
I still know different ones that I can search for...but sometimes they have a mark that I am not familiar with, and sometimes the seller of the glass bird knows nothing about the manufacture...and so I put my questions on this forum...and get nice answers! THANK YOU VERY MUCH

There is also a book titled
Quote
Animals in Glass, A Murano Bestiary
, however it seems to be confined to items normally seen in museums! Nice to look though  :P

ISBN: 88-86502-56-7

I collect many different animals, birds and fishes  - I do like the owls - but I'm not aware of any book that deals specifically with this subject: probably a little too niche?

Angela is also owner of this board :o

But it was me that recommended Ivo's book and I've never known him to promote his own publication.

Sunny here in the UK too, but hurricanes forecast for tomorrow... :?

Hi Janine,  :D

It could be Bosse Falk for Lindshammer glasbruk, Sweden.
A photo would help.  :)
What is also better, is that you start a new thread for each piece of glass that you would like identifying. That way, you will get more readers
