Paul,

That's an impressive collection of photos and it is good to be able to view so many types of Whitefriars weights. But are you considering including details such as design number / name and year? If so, that would be very helpful.

With my "PCC webmaster" hat on, I will mention your site within the Paperweight Club.

Hi All

Thanks for your messages.

My Father Ray, was very much involved with work on the paperweights and is quite happy to help identify any weights that are emailed to my address. I am looking for help to add further weights to the albums so if there are any collectors out there who could email pictures of any weights not in the album which could be added that would be fantastic. I will be adding the names to the paperweights at some point.

Finally thank you to those who have already sent some photo's

Just want to thank the person responsible for this Whitefriars site. I'm finding it very helpful, and I'm deriving a lot of pleasure from it.

Paul

I have looked at your site before on many occasions. You have added a lot of very interesting weights recently which I have not seen on previous visits.
Is is about time that a comprehensive catalogue of Whitefriars was put together. I know of others who are also looking at doing something around that (again involvement of an ex Whitefriars person) - I will make sure they are aware.
As far as collecting images, I have some which I will send. I have lots that I cannot send as they have been taken from ebay, dealers etc for personal use only. I suggest you contact  dealers - such as Ray at Sweetbriar - as they have huge archives. Another to contact is the good folk at paperweight-mall.com who have a rather good collecion of interesting whitefriars. They have links to your site already.
And there are others

Hadn't realised the thread was so old.  Still, comments above still apply
