VMI Murano Mark???

Hi,
Is anyone familiar w/this acid etched mark? I googled it and nothing came up. This mark is on the bottom of a paperweight. Any help is greatly appreciated!

According to Ivo's book 'VM' is 'Vetri Murano', which is a trade name used by several manufacturers, but I'm not sure this applies here.
