Okay, seeing as you all are so knowledgeable about various glass bits, including carnival glass, is there anyone out there who knows anything about carnival ware. (Okay, I know it is more ceramic than glass, but I can't find a ceramic forum out there).

I received a piece for Christmas to add to my Scottish kitsch collection and would love to know more about it. And let's face it, I'm just too cheap (as a social worker and grad student) to take all my bits to an appraiser.

If it's a type of glass it's fine here but if it's ceramic please post your query into the cafe instead.

Okay, thanks for the info. As soon as I get some pictures, I will place a message there.
