Thank you all for the information shared.:D   I've been away and unable to get back before now.  The weight I saw had a burgundy/deep ruby background, a heart set in canes with a circle of canes around the outer rim perfectly viewed through the top facet.  It was marked as LE of 250.  I'm pondering where I put the gentleman's business card.

Allan ... if you see this, I believe I have a Jay Glass weight which has your signature A cane along with the J cane.  It is called "A Ruffle Edge Primrose" and is very lovely.  Its certificate number is J56/94.  Please let me know if this is indeed you!

Thank you, again, everyone and all the best .... Lily

Hi Lily,
Yes that is one of the weights that we made at "Jay Glass" exclusively for Larry Selman. Here is a picture of it in the original brochure for you. :)

Lily,

That Edinburgh weight is called "Loveheart" - although brochure shows it as being edition of 500.

Allan, thank you so very much for your reply and for the wonderful picture of "Primrose" in the original brochure! :D   It is perfectly described.

mjr, thank you too for the name and LE information of the Edinburgh weight.  Is there a picture you can post?  If I'm able to track it down, I'll post again with photos and details.

Til the next time, all the best ..... Lily

One of the paperweights depicted in this thread - the Edinburgh - reminds me of a Caithness flower weight that has the name of one of the seasons (spring, summer, et. al.) printed on the bottom of the weight. I wish I could be more specific, but I've actually lost sight of the weight for the moment. I can't find it here in the house, but I know it's around here somewhere. I hate it when this happens.

The weights from this brochure are now at Scotland's Glass, tiny images though.
