Hi Julie,

I stopped by to see if you found an ID. I have looked at and through all of my resources, but couldn't find anything similar in shape. If I do happen to see it in my travels I will be sure to share what I find with you.

How shiny is it? Can you post more photos, including the base? AVEM (murano company) did similar shapes, but I'm not convinced this is one of theirs.

HI Mike, Thanks for looking
Laura, thank you too for looking. How  shiny? best way I can describe that is, it is  like it has been polished. I can't get  very good pics because I get a lot of reflection.Today is an overcast day, no sun shining and this is as good as I can get with the pics.Hope this helps

Is it iridescent or rough feeling?  If not, than I don't think it's one of the AVEM pieces.

Hi,

I'm afraid that I don't know who made your piece. I strongly suspect that it is Murano glass, but I can't prove which company made it. I might have a better feel for it if I were to see it in person.  Please let me know if it's for sale.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Not Neodymium, is it? Purple in the photo outside, and grey when taken inside... hmmm!

Laura, thank you once again for your  effort in trying to ID this vase for me.So please no need to say sorry because you don't know.I will be listing it on eBay within the next few days, hopefully.Thats if I can think of what to write in the description etc.
David, no its not neodymium. That purple colour you see is only reflections. We have a burgandy trim on the outside of our house so the vase was picking up the reflection from that. The vase is a smoke grey colour . I managed to strike it lucky with the weather and light conditions on our verandah in those last pics, and repositioned the vase so as not to get as much reflection as before.
Julie..always greatfull for any  help that is given.
