Orange and purple once went together briefly in the early-mid 70's. My mother has some dresses in storage to prove it!  :lol:

It might be worth your while looking on eBay.de for early glass shades. There are usually dozens of gorgeous nouveau/deco glass ceiling pendants ending for not much money at all - and German shipping is very reasonable in price. For example, the two glass lamps I posted on here today only set me back £39, inclusive of P&P. They would easily be £150-200+ on the UK market.

I'm pretty sure if you click Worldwide when you are searching, you will get all countries stuff that is marked as being available to be posted to the UK, rather than going to .de and trying to work out what all the German means....

I've found that you miss a lot of the bargains by searching through .co.uk as you have to know the german phrases to search for. If you search through .de you can just click on categories and it bring up all the contents related to what you're looking for.
