Found this also, looks like a trinket pot from a dresser set, but have never come across the pattern on it before.  Looks american depression but can't find the pattern in any of my books or even maker.  Pattern has a chinese look to it.

Tigerchips is absolutely correct - it's exactly like his splendid tray. It is a German item - Brockwitz Service 42000 ("Chinapressung").

such brilliance on this site, I love it, thanks so much for the info, the tray is exactly the same pattern as the trinket.  Phew!!!!!  id of one done, few more to go now

Help! I'm after a photo of Chinapressung pot with lid for the GTS website - do you still have yours please dinklepip?  The pics I have from t'other Anne are pots missing lids...
