Unusual carnival jug and glasses, but I like these!
« on: September 22, 2006, 12:06:24 PM »
I know I am not a big fan of marigold carnival glass,  but these came with a lot the other day and I must say I am quite keen.

The jug has a moulded 6B on the base but the glasses have no mark, I have looked to see if I can find the pattern but no luck.

The jug is 10.5" tall and the glasses 5"

Any one help please,

Barbara

I believe you have Jeannette's "Treebark Variant" here, Barbara.

Thankyou so much Glen, the colour is really lovely. I wish they had the 6 glasses

Now if only they had been in green I would have kept them, but I did get a couple of green bits so can't complain :D

I now have a "green carnival" windowsill which looks stunning when the sun shines.

Hi Glen,

When the sun shines again I will take a picture, at the moment it is persistantly raining very grey, and I've got three loads of washing hung on various radiators and airers dotted about. Its like a Chinese laundry!
