Hello,
These followed me home a few weeks ago and I have had absolutely, no success in finding any information about them or even any thing remotely similar. :? If you have time and the inclination please take a peek and let me know what you think.

They are rather large files so if you need me to make them smaller just shout. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Lisa

There's no need to encapsulate a web site address with the [url] tags... but unfortunately you've used an apostrophe (') and a space (converts to %20) that causes a problem, so it can't be used.
Copying the entire address into the browser's address line is the only solution:

Hi Lisa, I'm fascinated by these as I've never seen anything remotely like them either. The way they are fastened together looks quite ingenious. I bet they took some cleaning up? And I'm sure they'll look spectacular when lit.

Certainly an interesting piece, but are the panels (
edit: on the first fitting
) slumped, or pressed? As you're based in Canada, I wonder if it could be linked to a N.Amercan company?

They are slumped and fused. Almost certainly studio pieces as the method of joining is labour intensive as well as eye-catchingly quaint. Of course some businesses did do odd things in the 50's but might not last long if they were in production with these!
I would suggest checking out early slump glass artists.

Could it be early Higgins, or would it predate this?
