If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

You don't really need to put the image on here as well as the link to your photo gallery, that alone is fine.

I have 2mg broadband, and your pics didn't load within the thread for me....!!  But I clicked through on your link absolutely fine.
Thank you very much!

I think it may be late Whitefriars but someone else will come along soon and confirm. I know they did doorstops in this colourway.

You also posted this query in the Glass Paperweight forum. Your instincts were right. I replied with confirmation and a link to an image of something similar. Yours is a variation of a 1970s Whitefriars doorstop series. See my reply in the Glass Paperweight forum.

Hi,

Oh, I wish this was mine! It's lovely!  :)

I have seen similar patterns from Gränna Glasbruk in Sweden and also Rainbow Art Glass in Huntington, WV, USA.

Owl from Gränna Glasbruk

Mushroom from Rainbow

This is my first time adding pics so I hope it works!

Could this be Gränna or Rainbow instead of Whitefriars? What do you think?

regards,

Ingela
