Thank you both for taking the time and trouble to help me with this - I would really like to read this article as I am really interested in and like Walther glass.
Although a complete novice, I love the feel and quality of their glass - both the vintage and contemporary.

I recently had in a complete Waltraut set in topaz, with the matching clock
purchased from an estate here in Florida

Just got in a pink set, no clock

I have seen pink amber and green on the web but none in blue - are these sets scarce?

I think they were for hairpins or hatpins or both!

the oblong is about 20 cms long and is for comb and small brush I presume
