Sorry Pamela, I somehow got the idea that the Mauerhoff item was on export of glass to Australia. Mea culpa.

Thank you both for taking the time and trouble to help me with this - I would really like to read this article as I am really interested in and like Walther glass.
Although a complete novice, I love the feel and quality of their glass - both the vintage and contemporary.

I recently had in a complete Waltraut set in topaz, with the matching clock
purchased from an estate here in Florida
Just got in a pink set, no clock

the oblong is about 20 cms long and is for comb and small brush I presume
