« on: October 04, 2006, 04:41:06 PM »
In case anyone doesnt know, Dartington Crystal completed the deal to purchase the assets of Caithness Glass yesterday (Tuesday 3rd October).

The deal includes stock and the Perth site, but not the Kings Lynn site which is still in recivership. The Selkirk and Whitefrias brand names are also now part of Dartington Crystal (Torrington) Ltd.

Good news. I hope paperweight production will continue, which will be especially good news for collectors of Caithness, Whitefriars, and Selkirk weights.
