Luxardo Decanter, owl one...
« on: September 30, 2006, 07:48:58 AM »
Hi all,

I mentioned in my other post when I got my luxardo bird decanter that there was another one I had the chance to buy. It was a marble ? or alabaster ? owl with glass eyes.  Its now been listed on ebay...spent all my money on the bird, but if someone else is interested or needs the picture for future references.....

Looks like the owl was added, made to fit the decanter.
I have seen many ceramic pieces with cut holes in the bottom, so it would be easy to fit it.

Hi Javier,

I might have thought that too, but when I looked at the owl and also it says on the listing, its marked underneath... " MADE IN SIENA [ ITALY ] FOR LUXARDO 1970 . So I think that it was a combined effort :)
