Czech vases?
« on: October 05, 2006, 03:56:47 PM »
I think that these 5 pressed vases are all Czech.

http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-3541

Sizes are 10", 6", 7", 8", 8" (L to R).

All the vases have the same style base: centre indent, surround by a flat ground rim.

The clear vase has a "chessboard" pattern of frosting over the pressed features.

Can anyone help with factory and/or designer information for any/all items?
Thanks

Hi Chris,
Left to Right,
Probably Reidel, 1930's, unknown but will have a look elsewhere, SkloUnion, probably Jan Schmid, for Rosice or Libochovice, next is probably VHJ OBAL, designer unknown, last also unknown.
Back shortly.
Regards,
Marcus
