G. Vallon

I have several pieces of glassware mould signed G. Vallon, France but no real idea of who this maker/person was. Definitely early 20C' possibly from near Nice although one review suggested he was actually Belgium. Does anyone have more information - after all the Cherry paterned opalescent bowls do come up fairly fequently for auction and fetch good prices!  Would love to know, Colette.

Vallon doesn't appear to be very well-known: even Ivo Haanstra's glass fact file a-z has very little about him. He was mentioned briefly in an earlier discussion here on the board but still appears to be pretty obscure: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,2683.0.html
