Northwood carnival bowl help, please Glen
« on: October 06, 2006, 08:45:48 AM »
Hi,

I bought four pieces of carnival glass yesterday, and I am getting better and have managed to ID three of them (Feton urn and peacock , Fenton grape and cable and two Feton flute vases) but this one.....

I know its Northwood, as it has the N in the middle, but I have never seen the colour of the irridescent it looks almost silver/black, but the base glass is amethyst.

Oh, I found it, bullseye and leaves.

It is an early pattern, (what date is early?)

Dotty Daves says that they are not often seen, and if they are usually in green.
