Sorry to disappoint you, Blair. But I have never had a chance to get a better picture of the mark on the bottom or send the images to the CMOG.

I wouldn't add it to my store because a)I am keeping it and b)I am closing my store anyway to do other things.

But yes, I am going out of business totally. I have been selling on line since Jan 1998, so almost 9 years. For the past year or so, I have found my business to be more of a burden rather than an enjoyment. Life is too short to work at something you don't enjoy, so it is time for me to move on

Hi Blair,
I remember seeing another vase in amber and gold flecks with hanging rings like yours, but it was Salviati (the sellers attribution), and much more ornate. It had a lot of scroll decoration on the handles.

Yours does look like an older piece, but I am thinking it shouldnt be so clean and sleek. Also the large snails applied to it seem a little weird to me. Worth a look at Laura's suggestion.
