Author Topic: Smokey glass fishy and rhino - both signed - help please :-) (Read 1372 times)

Hubby bought these a week or two ago - he only wanted the fish because the rhino is damaged (big lump off the end of his horn) but the lady gave him the rhino because they 'go together' which is a bit of dilemma because I haven't got the room to keep damaged things so will probably have to sling it. Anyway, they're both signed with the same signature (see last picture for siggy) but we just can't make out what it says. They're nice heavy pieces of glass, sort of smokey colour and rather 1960's in style (apologies for the poor quality piccies - Mrs Lazy couldn't be bothered to get all the gear out and photographed them in the kitchen instead). Thanks as ever for any help.

Paul - if you don't mind paying the postage you can have it with pleasure. It has quite a chunk off the tip of his horn though. Email me and we'll sort it out.

Of course David, obviously first come first served, if Paul doesn't want it then you're next - I'm hugely relieved someone wants it. I would have found it very difficult to throw away, I'm not keen on selling damaged stuff and I simply don't have the room to keep it - so whoever ends up getting this is doing me a huge favour. You won't believe what hubby paid for the fish and as I said the rhino was free - it's astonishing what people sell things for at boot sales :shock:

tsk indeed! I thought that was just the little fish... they look so different!
