got this one today, anyone know the name of it? as it's a 2nd and only has the C11G on the base , the wheel grinding from the top the base just make's it look like a basketball, i've not seen a caithness weight etched like this before and was wondering if it was a test piece

I know this one, Ray, but I just can't think of the name!   :x  It's driving me crazy!    I thought it was something to do with a weathervane, but it's not that one  :?  I don't think the actual weight had the etching, if I'm thinking of the right one!

Incredible as it may seem Ray, there is an almost identical weight in my local antique centre with a bit of added engraving on the top.
