Moser Water Set? I'm hoping, can someone take a look?
« on: October 22, 2006, 08:35:35 PM »
Hello!

I'm wondering if this is Moser. Lots of wear on the tray, but every single piece (even the thin tumblers) have a ground and finished pontil:

   set:  http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-3776

Pitcher:

some detail:

partial mark, at the bottom of the leaf pattern on the pitcher:

This is the mark that I think it looks like, from the "Great Glass" website:

Am I anywhere in the right ballpark with this set? Is it Moser?

Thanks a million -

Kelli

The last image link you posted is for an image taken from another website - do you have permission from its owner to use this? If not, please delete it from GlassGallery and replace with a link to the Great Glass website.

I was certainly trying to do that, but it looks as though someone has deleted my entire file. Many thanks, I really appreciate that.

Currently the only person who can delete your album apart from you yourself, is me, and I have not done so. If I had I should not have made the earlier post asking you to clarify or remove the copyright image. How did you try and delete the image?

I logged in to the main page, and it said my album did not exist.

I also looked at the GMB Albums, and eglass is no longer there. ??

If you didn't delete it, something is weird.

At any rate, I apologize for posting a single pic instead of a link to the whole website. I meant nothing sinister by doing that, just wanted to show folks the mark I was referring to, without them having to search the whole page. I won't do that again, sorry.

Take care,

Kelli

Let me clarify that, Anne - I logged in to the yobunny website as soon as I got your message, IN ORDER TO delete that file, and it told me at that time that my album no longer existed - I was never able to attempt to delete a file, since the files were no longer there. And if you click on any of the links in my first message, you get the same result.

The easiest thing to do eglass, is recreate your account on Glass Gallery and reconstruct the links. I don't believe Anne can do much otherwise.

I don't believe this problem has ever affected anyone else and it's been a wonderful (and free) service for some time.

Hi Kelli -

Please do repost your pictures.  I viewed the set before the pictures mysteriously disappeared    It is a beautiful set but I didn't reply since I don't know much about that style of glass
