Murano Collectors: Paperweight Lettering Derivation Question
« on: October 28, 2006, 05:53:16 PM »
I have a new paperweight that is Murano. The lettering within reads X Otocongress Venezia 1973. I'd like help in knowing what it means. The images are in the thread in Glass Paperweights, which is entitled: What does this Murano paperweight commemorate?

Either the Ordo Templi Orientis congress or Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society congress.

The former being somewhat more interesting than the latter http://user.cyberlink.ch/~koenig/intro.htm

Thanks Frank. Christine got it exactly right in the Glass Paperweights Forum, including a link to 1973 and a medical convention. I have no idea how she found information on the web about something from 1973. I didn't think the web even existed back then.
