Not chance glass = spiegelunion?
« on: October 31, 2006, 03:45:43 PM »
this is probably one for dencil, while out the other day, came across a piece of what i think is chance glass, it was oval, slightly concaven gilded edge, black silhouettes of a man at a table and a woman serving him? was this chance glass?

Hiya David, found the dish, but the description i gave was totaly wrong   it is a man and woman, but the woman is seated and the man is bowing to her , the woman has a crinoline dress on, sorry about that, still having problems with photoshop, hubby is going look at it tonight, as soon as i can post a pic i will. sue x

Ah, this sounds similar to:

I believe these were made by Spiegelunion Flabeg GmbH, due to the odd fluting shape.
