Lamps designed by Wiktor Berndt / Flygsfors
« on: November 07, 2006, 12:47:57 AM »
I`m not a collector, but got curious about two identical lamps which I got from a friend that was rebuilding his old house.
They are made in white glass and brass and designed by the swedish designer Wiktor Berndt that worked at Flygsfors from 1955-74.
Up to now my searches on the net has ended up in vases and plates, but I cant find any lamps from his production.
I would be very greatful if anyone have some information about these lamps.
Pictures can be sent if neccasery
Thanks in advance.

It would really help if you could post a picture or two preferably including any signatures or markings. I've a good collection of Wiktor Berndt pieces and would be very interested to take a look as I've only come across one lamp of his in the past.

Hi there

Thanks for responding to my answer.

I`m new here in this message board and dont know how I put the picture into the message or into the answer to you. If you could send me an empty mail, I`ll return it with the picture attached.
I`m afraid its not a very good, professional picture, but as you dont know anything about my pro photographer background I hope it will do.   :D
If not, just tell me and I will take a new one.

My E-mail address is  in the email button below. (e-mail address removed by Moderator to prevent it being spammed.)

I really appreciate your help.

Hi Harald, there's a sticky posting a couple of messages above this one called 'POSTING PICTURES' - it tells you how to upload piccies to the board, it's really easy when you know how     I'm really looking forward to seeing your lamp - I particularly like Wiktor Berndt's work also although I don't own any.
