FM made a lot of neat stuff
The norwegian and swedish makers have a long history of
"cross polination" and sharing talent over the border.
One norwegian maker in particular, Magnor, had a swedish glassworks close by just over the border, Eda.
It was started by Eda to counter problems with import/export taxes, designer and glassblower families in the district worked at both,
even alternating at times.
Some of the greatesy artglass from Hadeland was designed and executed
by Johan Wilhelm Johansson, a swedish immigrant, and his son Willy Johansson.
