Maker on this Ebay bargain?
« on: November 18, 2006, 05:36:31 PM »
I posted thid over in the Murano forum as well.

I snagged this on Ebay for $2.50. I have a terrible weakness for red and aventurine and this has both. It's not a rare one because I have seen several on ebay. I do know it's italian. I did see a similar weight a while back but I cannot remember for the life of me what the label said.

Does anyone know the maker on the beauty?

I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Here it is. Base is the typical flat polished of Murano.

Perhaps I should make a trip to that antique shop where I saw the other one and have a look at the sticker.

Very pretty.  I have a weakness for aventurine too.  Sadly I don't own a weight with aventurine in it.

Found out the maker on this one. It's Ferro and Lazzarini.
