Interesting vase
« on: November 18, 2006, 08:32:39 PM »
Thoughts please on this vase. Quality is top class, clear with aubergine and dark red banding. The second picture shows looking inside to the base. It stands 7.5 inches high and the base rim has lots of age wear. My initial thoughts were Murano, possibly Bianconii or Martens, but somehow the shape doesn't feel right, so possibly Scandi or British studio.
