Pamela - it's genuine - but it's not Northwood. It is actually Imperial (USA). The pattern is called "Heavy Grape" and the colour is their rich (triple doped and heavily iridised) purple. A gorgeous item.

That is really sweet of you to ask, Pamela. I do have it on watch, but I really do have to save up to help pay towards my daughters wedding, so I will have to resist the impulse to bid.

Della I missed it during a late phone call. I know the seller already and shall write to her that you would like it. She is sending from Germany which is much cheaper.  To calculate postage: where in Holland are you situated?
