Topic: Close Pack paperweight over bronze aventurine base - Murano?

Am I right to assume that this rather good millefiori over a bronze aventurine base is definitely Murano?  Any one any ideas of possible maker?

This is what research is all about - finding out the truth. If you see an opportunity to expand your own knowledge and help others in the process, then why not take up the challenge?

I'm sure there are many others just waiting for such a book to be published.

I think you have to be of a particularly meticulous mind set to be a good researcher,  I know I am not as good at the minutae as the bigger picture.

True confession here: I have seriously considered writing just such a book. It will likely be years before I felt like I had mastery of the subject. I have an eye for detail and I love research.

The process will also involve collecting examples of the different makers. Oh dear, isn't that a shame?
