Is this figure Venetian glass?
« on: December 19, 2006, 05:51:13 PM »
The gold specks in the clear glass make me think this figure could be Venetian glass. Can anyone confirm or otherwise ID it? Many thanks, John.

Franco Toffolo was/still is making these in Scotland. Not sure if his had gold specks or not.

Thanks Frank. Do you know how long he's been making them? This one seems to have a bit of age to it. Also wondering about the colours ~ this one doesn't seem as colourful as the others I've seen on the internet.
Thanks again, John.

Hi again Frank,
I have tried to find contact information for John Deacons, but they all seem to come back to this board! Also, I don't seem to be able to IM him from here. You wouldn't have an address I can use, would you?
Thanks again, John.

Forgot to say that I've found a postal address, but wondered if there was an email one that I can use.

I can't give out email addresses, particularly as he does not use his own, you will have to write.
