Cobalt Snail with Murano Shield Label
« on: December 24, 2006, 11:43:32 AM »
Here's a proud looking snail.  Difficult to see in the picture, but there's a little gold dust in tail.  She's marked with that light blue shield label that nobody's been able to attribute to a maker.  Perhaps this may help.  Any candidates or guesses as to who manufactured this critter?  Also, pardon my asking, but could anyone help me out with a fan-shaped Italian pottery mark on a 1950s lamp (last picture)?
Thanks,
Charles.

Hi Charles, if you post your pottery mark question as a new thread in the Cafe someone may be able to help as there are a few pottery afficionados on the board.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
