Glass Apple

I have a signed glass apple that looks as if it is gold over glass.  It is signed  'JRS 1981' or it might be 'GRS 1981'.  I would appreciate any form of identification or value.  I can provide a photo of it if needed.  Thanks!  John Ruckle

Could it be GES (Glass Eye Studio)?  If it were, '81 would be an early piece.  Photos are always helpful.

Thanks for the replies.  I have posted pictures at http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4411.  I sure hope someone can identify this piece for me.  John
