This nice little bowl is c. 8cms high and 10cms across. As you can see the base is a pale green glass - unusual because I expected it to be clear and also because of the slight swirl it contains. I bought it because I loved the colours. It is not by an Australian artist that I recognise but unfortunately has no markings. I bought it off Ebay at the same time as a nise Liskeard vase from the same dealer - so I suspect it may have come from the UK and since lost its label. Suggestions welcomed.

Ross that is gorgeous. Can you take a side on picture where the side shape can be seen, it flares out at the top ?

Took 5 more shots. These four are of the sides -shoot, turn c.90 degress, shoot, etc.
The last one is taken through the bottom of the bowl and will be the next post.

I have a feeling this might have been a Jam Factory production piece made under the direction of Sam Herman in the mid seventies. But this is just an educated guess. Not an attribution.

Gee that would be nice Adam. :X: I can email a couple of the very early glass people here and maybe get a more positive result. A Sam Herman era piece would be a thrill.

Well I have had responses from 2 people he worked with in Adelaide and they decisively say NO! to a Sam Herman piece. The colours seemed to indicate middle Eighties to them and definitely not mid-70s. So Back to the drawing board.
