Perhaps Nazeing? Help please
« on: January 05, 2007, 04:33:24 PM »
Bought this yesterday, just because I liked the colour, I think it may be Nazeing, but would appreciate some advice please.  6 Inches high and a shallow ground and polished pontil.

Yes, it looks like Nazeing ref 20 Wide top tumbler vase made in 8 and 10 inch heights and sold at 5/9d in cloud and 6/3d in bubbly and is similar to several we have in our collection/ future museum. We did a pale pink and a dusky ( dirty) pink and yours appears to be the latter!
regards, Stephen, Nazeing Glass

Thank you Stephen, mine is 6 inches and you say they were made in 8 and 10inches.  So is mine OK? It is a kind of lilac/pink - my photo is a little duller than the real thing. And would mine be the cloud version?  Emmi
