Is'nt the "new" McConnell book a Miller's guide Pip? Before I go and buy the wrong one on Amazon??? ::) It has been known.
My senior moments are occuring so often of late they are in danger of becoming an epademic.

Yes that's the one 'Millers 20th Century Glass' by Andy McConnell - it's a really good book as far as information/attributions are concerned with just one or two little errors (nothing major that I've noticed) - lots of lovely pictures and information about the factories and designers.  Obviously if you're into earlier glass then this isn't going to be much use but for my purposes I've found it indispensable.

Yup, that's the book I saw. Maybe I will pick it up this summer when I'm working full time again.  :)

Same shop - 2 days later - though this one was 50p more ... no labels...

But can anyone confirm my hunch that it's another Riihimaki vase?

25 cms high and whilst my photo dosen't show it - the base is clear.

Hi Steve,
This one is shown in the Andy McConnell book as being in the Riihimäki export catalogue, 1976, designer Tamara Aladin.

Ditto - hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. Amazon delivery times are generally good.

Makes a change for there to be a glass book I want which is in print and/or doesn't cost a fortune! ;D
