Topic: Gnome Schnapps Bottle

Okay, needs some help.  Is this a tourist type bottle of Schnapps?  Would I call it a gnome?  Can anyone date this bottle from the numbers that are on the base of the bottle?  Do you think the liquor that is in the bottle is any good?

Nancy, what an extraordinary thing!  Is it a bottle enclosed in a lump of carved wood???

Pip, from what I can make of it, the bottle is encased with a clay/pottery and then molded to make it look like tree trunk, the branches are real wood.  It's the strangest thing I've seen in awhile.  It came from Munich, so I was hoping there would be someone here on the board that might recognize this.
