Just take a look at this beauty:

   Congratulations to Richard van Riel, creator, and curator of the definitive Bagley collection.

Do you know of any single, stand-alone glass web pages of a similar standard?    Please reveal your own favourite.

... and I have just worked out what was odd about this web page.    Richard appears to have some difficulty counting either fish or sides!

lol Bernard, I see what you mean.  By the way, I use an identical bowl for salads here, and I can't imagine sticking it up my jumper and no-one noticing!   :o

I look forward to their Bagley museum catalogue online. Could you drop a link to the GMB when it's up and running Bernard?  I'm terribly forgetful and might neglect to add it to my Glass favourites.  :P  Thank you.

I could only see one page with glass, one unimpressive page with a small picture an uncaptioned picture of some people and that it ???

Hi Bernard,

Maybe we could have a thread like the book reviews thread, for website resources?

I like this one for the Isle of Wight Glass :

http://www.isleofwightstudioglass.co.uk/Discontinued_Ranges.html

It's not just for discontinued ranges, but that section is very useful for identification purposes.

Happy New Year to you!

I have to vote for all the info websites run by members here.  In particular I use

Franks Ysart Pages
KevH's paperweight pages
Richard More's Strathearn pages (is he a member?  If not, I think he must be an honorary one...)
Angela's Glass Museum and Ency pages.
Glen's Carnival Glass pages

Lots more I think are excellent too, but these are the ones I use all the time.

Thank you very much!

There's always Anne's brilliant list of glass links here:

This is my standard reference site:

Glashistorisk Selskab Holbaek

Wish I had their reference materials for myself. *sigh*

Thanks, Bernard. I'm interested in Alexander Hardie Williamson's designs for Bagley, so it's particularly great to see the Marine bowl featured. And it's always wonderful to see original artwork for glass designs. It'd be great if you could let us know when the on-line collection is available.

As far as individual web pages go, I'm a big fan of the exhibition features on the Cambridge Glass Fair website. (Not just because they have one on AHW's glasses...)
