Green cased bottle shape vase with handle - ? Italian
« on: January 17, 2007, 05:13:02 PM »
Any ideas what this is please?   Bottle shape vase with applied clear handle.  Lime green over very crisp white interior and cased in clear glass.  Possibly Italian?

Oh dear - not allowing me to post Photobucket pic. ??? Will try again.

Managed to download it at last.  ::)

I think it's Italian, but not too sure.  I prefer it with the handle out of sight at the back.
Any ideas would be more than welcome.
TIA ;D

I agree with Italian - I have an orange one without the handle but very similar otherwise that was ID'd as from Italy.  Lovely colour Anne - it would look groovy with my orange one  :o

Orange and green :o  Yoweee ;D

Thanks Pip for confirmation of what I thought.  The number of times I've seen these attrib. to Holmegaard.  Anything bright with a white interior .....  ::)

Yeah these are often misdescribed as Holmegaard on eBay - I'm not saying definitely it is Italian though Anne - just what my gut feeling is based on the fact that it is very similar to my handleless version which was ID'd on here as being Italian.  Oh and BTW, my Mum had a pair of orange and green platform sandals in the 70's  :o
