Nazeing Glass
« on: January 21, 2007, 11:09:26 PM »
See, Lesley Jackson "20th Century Factory Glass", Mitchell Beazley, 2000, page 146, for a full page entry on Nazeing including an illustration of three examples of their 1930's art glass. These pieces are from the Michael and Peggy Parkington Bequest and can be seen at Broadfield House Glass Museum (sometimes not on show, but in store, because of space and changing exhibits).

Out of interest the "Swirl" pattern Barrel Vase was Micheal's first piece of Nazeing and was bought from a chap called Frank Andrews ;). The "Festoon" Footed Bowl (Pat No 36/18/-) and the black Cylinder Vase with Lip (Pat No 36/7) on the left came from myself.

Nigel
