'Spiky' Bowl, Possibly Kosta / Ann Warff
«

I just bought this bowl. It seems well-made. I suspect it may be Kosta—the first photo shows it next to an Ann Warff candleholder.

The way the spikes are done looks very much the same. The remainder is covered in tiny nodules / bumps.
I'd be very grateful if anybody knows for sure.
Many thanks!

Hi Robbo, I've had one of these and I also believed it to be Kosta and called a 'sunflower' bowl.

Thanks Pip,
The name really makes sense - from the inside, the bumps look like seeds
. That hadn't crossed my mind
.

You're welcome Robbo. It's obvious when it's pointed out isn't it!

I recently managed to find one of these in it's original box so thought it might be useful to post the photographs of the box up on here for confirmation. Each of the four sides of the bowl has 'Sunflower' in different languages and the top shows the crest and the designer's surname. I've put the vase away now but hubby says it also had a label on it (I didn't notice so haven't got a piccie) but I'll add one to my gallery (and to the label gallery) when I next do some photographs. Anyway, here's the piccies of the box ...
