It turns out that the auction and text was written by Yvonne Moretti daughter of Alessandro Moretti (1922-1998). She has spent ten years gathering the details and has posted this information into the public domain. She also posts on a website at http://www.morettiglas.20fr.com/ where she can be contacted if you have further questions.
