Topic: VENINI Bottle? confirmation required please . Bianconi or Ponti?

Im pretty sure this must be a Venini bottle, but would appreciate confirmation, its not signed,
actually it wobbles a bit, so maybe it didnt deserve a signature!
Its 18 inches tall, book pictures are from Leslie Pina circa 50s glass(hope im not breaking
copyright rules) and it looks like its probably Fulvio Bianconi or Gio Ponti .
Any advice gratefully recieved.

Difficult to tell from the pictures, but it doesn't look to me to have the quality of a Venini piece. The finish to the base should be a giveaway.

I think you will find it's a Fratelli Toso decanter from the 1960's, I would say definitely not Venini.

Paul,
thats fine, a good make, Im happy with that, ive seen a similar blue one ,cone shape decanter
in lhe Leslie Pina book.
