Frank,
it gets better, ive got 3, I believe they are by Ladislav Palecek,
Im not exactly sure when, 70s maybe, and i believe they do(or did) same style in
more shapes and other colours, so ive got a few years collecting to go!

Yes, im sure they are still made today, id be interested in the prices from the factory shop,
although i could never go there because id spend far too much! Not too keen on all their
stuff, but some of the ranges of vases are stunning and expertly made!
I got mine from ebay, not cheap, but im happy i didnt overpay, and explain to me how the
Austrians and Germans can post a large 3kg package for about 17 euros! Its not the same the
other way around!

Hi,
All designs from 1983, from the 8318 range, which have been produced for at least 15 years, according to my catalogues, so not a small scale production.
Regards,
Le Casson

PS. Andy, German sellers can ship 10kg for €22, to European destinations. ;D

Apologies.
For clarity, Andy's pieces are all 8318 range.

Terry's fine array, from l-r and top to bottom:
Petr Hora, 8620, 1986, Petr Hora 8619, 1986,
Pavel Hlava, 7714, 1977, Jaroslav Svoboda, 7425/ 15, 1974,
Frantisek Vizner, 1976 (sorry no precise pattern number, but related items are 7626 and 7622)
another Vizner item...(did you get an exact id on this, Terry?) and Palecek.

Regards,

Marcus

Marcus, I never did get a postive ID. Since the thread is about Beranek and Skrdlovice, I noticed in my group shot the two pieces of early Beranek I have were missing.

These date to 1940 and correct me if I am wrong, but were done by Emmanuel Beranek, the founder of the firm. I am on my first cup of coffee so I hope this is right. Terry

Marcus,
some more of my Skrdlovice, at least i think it is, could you help with the front 3 in the photos,
left is a multicoloured ashtray, centre vase has yellow and gold skrdlovice sticker , i think a bit earlier
than some of the others, and the semi circle bowl? on the right, pretty sure its Skrdlovice.
Thanks for all your help,
Andy

ps Terry, nice collection! photos dont give a good idea of the thickness weight and quality
of Skrdlovice, i presume bottom centre is enormous!
