Unfortunately, I shall not be there. I considering it each year but so far other things have taken precedence.

I'm sure you will have a great time though. :)

Sorry to hear you can't make it...
I'm hoping to bring home some knowledge from some of the seminars/discussions/trips and hopefully a few pretty bauble thingys.  ;D

Hey Kevin.

What if someone asked you to be a speaker at the mid May, 2008 Wheaton Arts Paperweight Fest (the one held in the alternate years - and a year from this spring). Think we could talk you into it? You'ld have to pay your own travel, but the hotel & convention fees would be comp'ed. And I'm sure quite a few would buy you drinks at the watering hole at each day's end.

It's a three day affair and being run by Wheaton Arts and the Delaware Valley paperweight Club.

And I happen to be the program chair again this time. What say you??  ;D

Andy

I will be there for at least the Friday evening, all day Saturday, and the banquet on Saturday night. Is anybody else going apart from us two?
Any ideas on a good place to meet up>

Hello again! I would just like to say I am so glad I attended this event. First off my shuttle from the airport included Rick Ayotte, Mayauel Ward, and one other artist! I knew from the very beginning I was in for something incredible! It was an amazing extended w/e, and though I didn't make it up for the multiple seminars starting at 8 and 9am, I did thoroughly enjoy meeting all the very nice fellow collectors, too many to mention here, but thanks so much for the warm welcome, from all! Everything was first rate and top notch, not meaning to sound like I expected otherwise, just it was my first time and I didn't know quite what to expect. The mansions tour of "The Breakers", and "Marble House" in Newport were quite extravagantly to die for, everyone on the bus were so nice too! Also the bus trip to Sandwich was long but worth it and truely amazing! It was all so nice and I am already looking so very much forward to the next one! I even got to speak briefly with the outgoing pres of PCA and he was very cordial and even a bit humorous. Finally met Angela the owner of this here group, so much fun and it was a pleasure chatting at the banquet!  :) :) :) :) :)
